Holiday Giveaway:
Win A $100 Shopping Spree at Back 40 Books!

Art Is Life—And Beauty Can Be Found in the Simplest Things

Do you love books as much as I do? Then this is the contest for you!
Back 40 Books is a small Missouri company that's a big resource for anyone interested in a self-sufficient and sustainable lifestyle, and they're giving away a $100 shopping spree to one lucky Farmgirl Fare reader. You'll find all the details in this post on Farmgirl Fare, my food and farm blog. But hurry—the contest ends Wednesday, December 10th. Have fun and good luck!

  1. I love this photo. It reminds me of another photo you took a long time ago. It was a fence with a berry branch on it. Now I'll drive myself crazy looking for it.

  2. I am enjoying your blog so much. I just found it about a week ago and have been reading it since. I also have an interest in gardening but my gardening is probably quite different because I live in South Georgia where it seldom snows and rarely gets below freezing. With a little extra care, we can garden year round. I will enjoy future postings.

March 2013 update: My apologies for the inconvenience - I know word verification is a pain - but I've had to turn it on to help stop the ridiculous number of anonymous spam comments I've been getting every day. Thanks for your understanding.

Welcome to InMyKitchenGarden.com! Thanks so much for taking the time to write. While I'm not always able to reply to every comment, I receive and enjoy reading them all.

Your feedback is greatly appreciated, and I especially love to hear about what's going on in your own garden. I know, too, that other readers also delight in reading about your garden successes, failures, helpful tips, and lessons learned. Feel free to leave comments on older posts!

I try my best to answer all questions, but sometimes it takes me a few days to get to them. And sometimes, I'm sorry to say, they fall through the cracks, and for that I sincerely apologize.

I look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoy your visits to my kitchen garden!
